Terms & conditions.

1. Booking & Deposit

  • A non-refundable deposit of £60 is required to secure your booking.

  • Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

  • The remaining balance invoice will be sent via secure link to the lead booker and must be paid in full 24 hours before your event.

  • If balance remains unpaid after this time, we will not be able to go ahead with your party and you will lose your deposit.

  • Your deposit will be deducted from the final total.

2. Minimum Numbers & Pricing

  • Adult parties: minimum of 6 painters at £32pp (until 8/12/25 - £35pp after this time)

  • Kids’ parties: minimum of 6 painters at £26pp. (until 8/12/25 - £28pp after this time)

  • If your group size drops below the minimum, the minimum charge still applies.

  • Prices include all materials, paints, glazes, firing and delivery.

3. Travel & Setup

  • We currently cover the Greater Manchester area. Please see our FAQ’s for postcodes we cover.

  • We require access 30 minutes before and after your event for setup and clear-down.

4. Larger Groups

  • For parties over 12 guests, an additional team member will be required at an extra £50 staffing fee.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to another date with at least 14 days’ notice (subject to availability).

  • Once your final balance has been paid, we’re unable to offer refunds for individual guests who can’t attend.

  • Should your party size change significantly before your event, please inform us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate (within our minimum numbers).

  • Cancellations within 7 days of your event will be charged at 50% of the total balance.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours will be charged in full.

6. On the Day

  • Tables and chairs are not provided. We’ll bring table coverings and all materials needed.

  • Our paints are water-based and washable, but we recommend guests avoid wearing delicate clothing.

  • Please ensure there’s enough space for all participants to sit comfortably.

7. Damage & Loss

  • We take great care with all pottery, but as each piece is handmade and hand-painted, minor imperfections may occur during firing — this is part of the charm!

  • Guests take part at their own risk. We are not responsible for accidental damage to pottery once it’s been painted and delivered.

  • Although all paints used are water based and wash out of fabric easily with water, Glazey do not accept responsibility for damage or loss of participants’ personal items (or belongings at the party location) by paint, spillage or accidental breakage by guests.

  • Given that spills are a natural possibility during creative activities, guests are responsible for providing a suitable area where they are comfortable with this level of risk.

8. Firing & Delivery

  • Painted items are taken away to be glazed and fired, and will be delivered to the location of your event within 2 weeks.

  • We’ll confirm a collection date and time with the lead booker after your event.

9. Health & Safety

  • All materials used are non-toxic and suitable for children.

  • Adult supervision is required for children’s parties at all times.

  • A ratio of 1:5 children to adults is required for children aged 6-12. Our team are happy to assist with this. All children under 5 must be individually accompanied by an adult.

10. Social Media

  • We love sharing your creations! We may take photos during your event for our social media.

  • Please let us know in advance if you’d prefer not to be photographed.
